بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of God, the Almighty, the Merciful
[2:62] Surely those who believe; and those who are Jewish, and the Nazarenes, and the Sabians, whoever of them believes in God and the Last Day and does good works; they will have their recompense with their Lord, and there is no fear upon them, nor will they grieve
In this verse, different communities are described, which make no difference for God.
- Believers (who believed in God’s message without demanding material evidence),
- Jews (who followed God’s guidance),
- Christians (who offered support to God and His Messenger), and
- Sabeans ..
are the biggest monotheistic religions that God directly addresses in the Quran. Most of these religions are known to people; only, who were the Sabeans and which holy book was sent to them?
1. The Sabeans
Many who have engaged with the topic of “Sabeans” were rather uncertain about this community. One of the theories was that the Sabeans originally came from Yemen, where once the Queen of Sheba ruled.
According to the Quran, her kingdom existed at the same time as Solomon’s kingdom (see from verse 27:15). Prophet Solomon was, as we know, the son of David, and the Psalms of David were at that time the current holy scriptures. According to the Quran it says: after the Queen of Sheba saw the wonders of God in Solomon’s realm, she submitted to God’s omnipotence.
27:44 She was told, "Go inside the palace." When she saw its interior, she thought it was a pool of water, and she (pulled up her dress,) exposing her legs. He said, "This interior is now paved with crystal." She said, "My Lord, I have wronged my soul. I now submit with Solomon to God, Lord of the universe."
We do not know exactly what the word “SaBaAa” means. In the Arabic lexicon there is not much about it, except that it has a common root with the words “صبا” (Siba = youth, beauty, fame) and also with the Hebrew word “Adonai Sabbaot” (My Glorious Lord). This also fits in the sense that under Solomon’s rule the peoples experienced their glorious time. Even parts of today’s barren deserts were then equipped with gardens and water systems that no longer exist today. In Surah “Saba” (Chapter 34) their land, the people, and their fate are described precisely.
As with the topic “Unity of the Holy Books,” we need some tools such as our App: Alquran.eu, which is equipped for such calculations, and perhaps some knowledge about the Numerical Values (NW), which we can acquire here: (What are the numerical values of the Arabic letters) 1. Adonai “Sabbaot” (The Glorious Lord) and the Psalms of David and the message of Solomon:
The Sabeans are mentioned in the Quran 3 times in 3 verses
We search for the word صبء(ي|و)ن
The GV of the 3 verses is:
15979 (19*841)
In the Quran it is said that Prophet Solomon sent a letter with the inscription “In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious” to the Queen of Sheba to convey to her the message of God. In other words, he was the predestined messenger of this people.
Now let us see whether this can also be substantiated mathematically, and for this we must search the name of the people together with the name of the prophet:
صبء(ي|و)ن|سليمن
We find the two words in exactly 19 verses
The message was, as mentioned above, “the Psalms of David.” And here we search for the name of the people and the name of David
صبء(ي|و)ن|داود
These two names are also present in 19 verses
The Sabeans received not only the proverbs of Solomon, but also the Psalms of David as their holy book. Therefore, we use the name of the people, David’s name, and Solomon’s name as the next search parameter:
صبء(ي|و)ن|سليمن|داود
There are 28 verses in 10 Surahs, whose number of words is 570 (114*5) or (19*30)
also 28+10 = 38 (19*2)
The Psalms (Zabour) was the holy book of the Sabeans. That means we search for the name of the people and the name of their book:
صبء(ي|و)ن|زبور
We find 6 verses, whose NW is 29374 (19*1546)
God is the Almighty
2. Jesus and those who offered support to God and His Prophet
Before Christianity appeared with the Prophet Jesus, most of the first Christians belonged to the Jewish community. Later, when Jesus preached about God’s kingdom, many left their communities and followed him. Thus a new community arose with its own laws and its own holy book.
All this is clearly understood in the texts of the Quran, but it is also confirmed through the coding of the Quran. For if we search for the name of the Christians (Nassara) together with the name Jesus in the Quran, then we will find the following:
عيسي|نصري |نصرانيا
We find 39 verses, and the GV of these verses is 281428 (19*14812)
The sum of the verse numbers yields 3116 (19*164)
And the sum of Surah numbers yields 456 (114*4) or (19*24)
Now we add the name of the holy book “Gospel” and search again:
عيسي|نصري |نصرانيا|انجيل
We found 48 verses in 15 surahs.
The number of letters in these 48 verses is: 5586 (114*49) or (19*294)
If we add the surah numbers together, we obtain 361 (19*19)
a. The Hawarys
According to verse 61:14, the “Hawarys” (حواريون) were one community of the 12 communities of the Jewish faith, i.e., of the Children of Israel. They were those who demanded evidence from Jesus and debated with him, and yet later allied themselves with God and His prophet. The root verb “HaWaRa” means in Arabic (to conduct a discussion, to proceed strategically)
61:14 O you who believe, be God´s supporters, like the disciples of Jesus, son of Mary. When he said to them, "Who are my supporters towards God," they said, "We are God´s supporters." Thus, a group from the Children of Israel believed, and another group disbelieved. We helped those who believed against their enemy, until they won.
Since the Quran concerns the encounter of the Hawarys with Jesus, we should then find all the verses that contain both names:
We find 3 verses, whose number of words is 76 (19*4)
The addition of the verse numbers with the surah numbers also yields 247 (19*13)
3. Moses and those who followed the guidance
We know that through the teachings of the Torah, the message of Moses, the Children of Israel received a new name "Allaziena Hadu" (Those who followed the guidance).
Here we proceed systematically as in the other examples. First we search for the name of this community and the name of their prophet:
موسي|هادوا|ك[ا|و]نوا هودا|كان هودا
We find them in 144 verses, whose GV is 727662 (19*38298)
The number of words in these verses is also: 2584 (19*136)
We found the name of this community, the name of the prophet, and the name of their book in exactly
38 (19*2)
surahs
هادوا|ك[ا|و]نوا هودا|كان هودا|التوريه|موسى
a. Israel = Jacob
The descendants of the Prophet Israel were designated by his name (Children of Israel). The prophet was called Jacob in earlier times according to the Bible, and the Quran also confirms this statement. Therefore, if we search for the two names (Jacob and Israel), which belong to the same person,
we will find exactly 57 (19*3) verses
اسرءيل|يعقوب
The Children of Israel were divided into 12 different communities in the time of Moses.
4. Prophet Mohammed and those who believed:
The Muslims are called in two ways in the Quran. Before Islam was the ruling community in Mecca, the people who joined Islam were called “Umyyen” (the heathens); the Prophet Mohammed was also called so, “AlUmmyy“ (the messenger of the heathens).
Here we must explain that the word “heathen” was defined as “the unbelievers” only under the influence of the church. Heathens, however, are those peoples who had not previously received a holy book. They are, so to speak, nature peoples who later believed - without any material evidence or miracles - in the words revealed by God through Mohammed. Therefore they were later, as verse 2:62 describes them, called “Allaziena Amanu (the believers).”
Now we search for the word Umyyen (the heathens) in all its derivatives, as it appears in the Quran:
الامين |الامي |اميون
We find 6 verses, whose GV is 44023 (19*2317)
Now we search for their name which they later received, “Allaziena Amanu” (the one who believed)
الذين ءامنو
The number of verses in which this phrase appears is 220, and the words found therein are 4693 (19*19*13)
Now we search for these people (the believers) together with their prophet (Mohammed)
الذين ءامنو|محمد
We found 228 (2*114 or 19*12) entries in 222 verses in 55 surahs.
Verses with even numbers are: 108;
And
with odd numbers are: 114 (19*6)
We know that the Quran consists of 114 Chapters
Now we want to search for “the believers,” “Mohammed,” and “the Quran”:
الذين ءامنو|محمد|القرءان|القرءن
We found 271 verses, whose GV is 1736866 (19*91414)
And the number of letters is: 24377 (19*1283)
of which 133 (19*7) are even
and 138 odd
We now add “AlUmyyen” to our last search and see what results:
الذين ءامنو|محمد|القرءان|القرءن|الامين |الامي |اميون
We found 276 verses that have 24909 (19*19*69) words.
5. All Religions united
After we have shown and counted the 4 main communities, we want to have them all calculated together with their books. That is, we search for: Sabeans, Jews, Christians, heathens, Quran, Gospel, Torah, and Psalms.
صبء(ي|و)ن|هادوا|ك[ا|و]نوا هودا|كان هودا|نصري |نصرانيا|الامي[ن]*|اميون|قر(ءا|ء)ن|انجيل|توريه|زبور
Here we find 141 entries in 114 (19*6)
verses
Count of all verse nnumbers is 6251 (19*329)
We add “the believers” to our last search parameter and search again.
صبء(ي|و)ن|هادوا|ك[ا|و]نوا هودا|كان هودا|نصري |نصرانيا|الأمي |اميون|القر(ءا|ء)ن|الانجيل|التوريه|الزبور|الذين ءامنوا|الامين(?!\s*$)
We find 342 (19*18)
entries in 305 verses
Islam (submission to God) is, so to speak, the goal of all religions. Whoever does not submit to God simply belongs to none of these communities. Whoever submits to people, to the priesthood, to material things, etc., does not deserve to gain closeness to God.
3:19 The system with God is submission, and those who received the Book did not dispute except after the knowledge came to them out of jealousy between them. And whoever rejects the revelations of God, then God is swift in judgment.
6. Abraham and Submission
God called the people who followed Mohammed “the believers,” yet commanded them to call themselves Muslims (those submitted to God) (see verse 49:14). We know from the Quran that Mohammed was not the first prophet to receive this religious designation. Originally, the name came through the first prophet of Islam, our father Abraham. And to be submitted to God, believers from all communities had to profess this. In other words, Islam (submission or yielding to God) is the commonality of all believers of the various communities.
According to the Bible (OT), Abraham experienced two phases of his life. In the first phase, when he lived among the unbelievers, he was still called “Abram”; in the second phase of his life, after he had made his covenant with God, God changed his name to “Abraham.” This is confirmed in the Quran when we precisely check the different spellings of the name:
In Surah 2 he is called “ابرهم” (
ABRHM
),
but in the other remaining surahs “ابرهيم” (
ABRHYM
).
For this reason, we want to examine here whether the designation “Muslims” has something to do with “Abraham.”
The first phase of his life: ABRAM+MUSLIM:
(مسلم[ي|و|ت|ا])|(مسلمه لك)|ابرهم
We find the word “Muslim” and “Abram” exactly 57 (19*3)
times
Counting the chapter numbers is 703 (19*37)
The word ABRAM alone appears in 12 verses that have 304 (19*16)
words ابرهم
The second phase of his life: ABRHYM+MUSLIM:
(مسلم[ي|و|ت|ا])|(مسلمه لك)|ابرهيم
We find 88 verses, whose number of words is 1349 (19*71)
a. Islam
Now we want to examine the name of this religion “ISLAM” in the Quran. In doing so, we find it in 6 verses.
(ال|ل)اسلم
If we add the surah numbers of these verses together (3+5+6+39+61),
then we obtain 114 (19*6)
114 is also the number of surahs in the Quran
The GV of the 6 verses found is also divisible by 19: 53466 (19*2814)
As mentioned, Islam is the religion that Abraham selected with his unique gift for reason and passed on to his sons. Therefore we search in the Quran for the name of this religion (Islam) and for the name of our prophet and father (Abraham), exactly as in the previous example: once before his renaming and the second time after it:
ABRAM+ISLAM
لاسلم|ابرهم
We find 18 verses whose GV is 1919 (19*101)
ABRHYM+ISLAM
لاسلم|ابرهيم
We find the two in 57 (19*3) verses.
Now we search for ABRAM, ABRHYM, MUSLIM, and ISLAM
(مسلم[ي|و|ت|ا])|(مسلمه لك)|لاسلم|ابرهيم|ابرهم
We find 103 verses in 38 (19*2)
surahs
In these 103 verses
19
(38/2) Surahs have the name ALLAH الله

7. Individual further names in the Quran
The listed names denote the servants (in the form of scribes, priests, monks, etc.) of the communities and, as a whole, the priesthood of the religions.
a. (احبار) AHBAR (the scribes)
“Ahbar” is the plural of “Hibr” (scribe) and comes from the root “HaBaR,” which means (ink, writing). In the Quran they are sometimes praised for their admonition and at other times reproached because they act arrogantly toward nature peoples. Verse 9:31 shows us how many people even deify them.
9:31 They have taken their Priests and Monks to be patrons besides God, and the Messiah, son of Mary, while they were only commanded to serve One god, there is no god except He, be He glorified against what they set up.
b. (ربنيون) Rabbanyoun (rabbis)
The word is the plural form of “Rabbany” (Jewish rabbis), which means (to act in the sense of the Lord), since it derives from the root RBB. (رب
RaB = Lord, ربى RaBBa = to raise/educate, ربيا
RaBYa = to grow, مربي MoRaBBY = educator, etc.)
c. (قسيسين) Qessisin (priests)
Is the plural form of “Qiss” (قس) and denotes the priests of the Christian community. In the Quran they are mentioned once in verse 5:82.
d. (رهبان) Ruhban (monks)
Is the plural form of “Rahib” (راهب = monk) and occurs 3 times in the Quran. In the 4th verse (57:27) it is about “monasticism” (رهبانية) itself.
e. مجوس Magus (the Zoroastrian priests)
Zoroastrianism belongs to the mono1istic communities that arose 600–700 before Christianity in Persia. The word “مجوس” (Magus), as the adherents of this community are called in the Quran, points to wise priests who possess visionary abilities as well as the gift of interpreting dreams and stars. In the book of Matthew these priests appear as those wise men who traveled from the East to Bethlehem to see the newborn Jesus (Matthew 2:1–7–16).
Since the teachings of Zarathustra show many similarities to the Old Testament, it has been supposed that he might have quoted some things from the Jews of that time. Whether this information is true, we do not know; all we know is that the origin of Zarathustra is unknown. It is possible that he lived with the Children of Israel or that he himself belonged to this tribe.
Only in verse 22:17 does the name of these priests appear in the Quran. Due to the similarity between “Magus” and the Latin word “magic,” some translators of the Quran assumed that this refers to “magicians”; others transcribed the Arabic word into Latin letters, and only in Paret’s translation was it recognized that these are Zoroastrians.
22:17 Surely those who believe; and those who are Jewish, and the Sabians, and the Nazarenes, and the Majoos; and those who were polytheists; God will separate between them on the Day of Resurrection. For God is witness over all things.
Now we want to search for the names of all these servants of the Lord in the Quran.
احبار|ربنيون|قسيس|مجوس|رهب[ا]*ن[ا|ه| ]
We find them exactly in 6 verses, whose number of letters is 722 (19*19*2)
With the next search parameter we want to examine all the adherents of the different religions presented together with their priesthood (the followers of Abraham):
(Sabeans, Jews, Christians, scribes, rabbis, monks, priests, Zoroastrians, heathens)
صبء|هادوا|ك[ا|و]نوا هودا|كان هودا|اليهود|يهوديا|احبار|نصري |نصرانيا|ربنيون|رهب[ا]*ن[ |ه|ا]|قسيس|حواري|المجوس| الامين |الامي |اميون
We find 61 entries in 34 verses, whose number of words is 893 (19*47)
Now we also add “the believers” (الذين ءامنوا) to our search parameter, since the word indeed represents the last community but also the characteristic found in every religion.
صبء|هادوا|ك[ا|و]نوا هودا|كان هودا|اليهود|يهوديا|احبار|نصري |نصرانيا|ربنيون|رهب[ا]*ن[ |ه|ا]|قسيس|حواري|المجوس| الامين |الامي |اميون|الذين ءامنو
We found exactly 285 (19*15) entries,
in 247 (19*13) verses
Adding the verse numbers also yielded 16055 (19*845)
8. The People of the Scripture
The Quran mentions 3 peoples who are designated according to their holy book.
- Ahlo Alkitab (People of the scripture)
- Ahlo Alinjiel (People of the Gospel)
- Ahlo Alzikr (People of the Admonition (“The Admonition” is another designation for the Quran))
If we search for the 3 terms in the Quran, then we will find
34 verses, whose GV is 202198 (19*10642)
اهل ال(كت[ا]*ب|ذكر|انجيل)
Praised be THE LORD of the Universe
And peace be with all His faithful servants
